Many career paths can be pursued with a BBA (Hons) Business and Management degree, regardless of your career goals. In addition to providing a comprehensive introduction to business management, the course aims to offer students a deeper understanding of the latest management and business practices. Students who complete the course will receive the practical knowledge required to succeed in business through interactive teaching and learning methods.

Certificate from the ACCA

An ACCA is a chartered certified accountant. After completing the course, students receive a certificate. The ACCA exam consists of 13 papers, and after passing them all, students are recognised as Chartered Accountants. There is a global body for professional accountants that offers rewarding career opportunities in accounting, finance, and management worldwide. A successful accounting career can be built just by learning the skills and knowledge of accounting, regardless of a student’s area of employment.

After completing 12 years of education, students can participate in either of the two domains.

Time Required for Completion

It takes the ACCA a little longer than average to complete the certificate. After completing the course, an additional 2-3 years of training are required – meaning the duration is approximately six years.

Obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration takes four years. Most students continue their studies with an MBA, enhancing their job prospects and giving them more incredible specialisation options. The course is divided into eight semesters.

Degrees equivalent

An ACCA degree is equivalent to a postgraduate master’s degree.

Nevertheless, the BBA is an undergraduate degree (resembling 16 years of education). Successive BBA students will then have the qualification to pursue a postgraduate MBA, a Master’s degree.

Prospects for Careers

Students who complete the BBA program will have the skills and qualifications needed to pursue several careers, such as Human Resources, Administration, Marketing, Finance, Public Relations, and Customer Service.

In addition to working as auditors, tax consultants, financial controllers, management accountants, Treasury consultants, and business analysts, many students pursue ACCA qualifications. Graduating students can also become entrepreneurs anywhere in the world, in any industry.

What is the more straightforward option?

It is a higher level than BBA, ACCA being equivalent to a postgraduate masters degree, such requires a higher level of expertise than BBA.

Cost of BBA & ACCA in Nepal

The ACCA and BBA do not have fixed costs.

Universities charge different fees for the BBA, depending on whether they are public or private.

It is also possible to find the ACCA at a lower price. Still, it can be expensive because students must also pay registration fees (both to the institution and the ACCA) in addition to tuition and exam fees.
