A student has various options for supporting a recognizable profession, both financially and in terms of status. However, the ACCA professional accountancy stands out among all of these options because of the broad range of job opportunities and scope it affords.
As part of its operations and tactics, businesses require a well-organized workplace that comprises accountants, financial managers, auditors (internal/external), managers, consultants, and policymakers.
Professional accountants are best suited to meet the demand for this trained human resource.
In Nepalese students, the three significant professional accountancy associations are ICAN, ICAI, and ACCA, which meet this trained human resource demand.
Each of these organizations has distinct characteristics and a USP (Unique Selling Proposition) that sets them apart from the competition.
As previously stated, the ACCA is the preferred professional accountant qualification.
The following are some of ACCA that set it apart from its competitors:
Flexibility: For the professional module, there is no reciprocal group system in Nepal other than ACCA, though there was one earlier, which meant subjects did not have to be passed in associations.
The maximum number of papers that one can appear for in a single sitting is limited to four; however, the minimum is determined by one’s convenience and workload.
A passing grade on an exam paper is permanent; only a failed exam paper gets retaken.
It is unnecessary to complete the papers in a specific order or series; one can appear papers according to your comfort.
Global Mobility: As an ACCA student, you have already established yourself as a globally mobile individual. The study is facilitated and can be completed from any corner of the world, i.e. ranging from Australia to Zimbabwe.
The ACCA’s most modern and convenient feature is that exams get scheduled at any of the 400 examination centres across the world.
For example, if a student has finished nine ACCA exam papers while in Nepal and then decides to continue his or her ACCA studies in Australia, he or she should only pursue the remaining five of the total 14 ACCA exam papers.
International acceptance: ACCA is a globally recognized professional degree, with members working for and giving value to employees in many different parts of the world.
With this professional certificate, you will not be confined by any geographical boundaries and will be able to pursue a truly international career.
Opportunities continue to arise due to this, and personnel must assess their skills/capabilities and be prepared to work for opportunities regardless of where they are located on the globe.
Innovative: Innovation is a critical component of the ACCA’s professional accounting practice. ACCA examines qualifications from time to time, updates/upgrades them as needed, and smooths out their operations and testing system.
All of this contributes to the ACCA’s relevance at present and its respect among employers and students. Join ACCA at NCA College of Management, one of the oldest and goldest ACCA college in Nepal.
