There are several small details that are hindering your ACCA success, without you realizing it. Study environment though you may find it to be a minor element but getting it wrong can land you up in a greater consequence.

When coming to ACCA study space, through research we figured out two types of people. One who is confident about their knowledge, who then nods their head ‘right & left’, and the other one who spends endless hours every day cleaning their study rooms, but alas ends up wondering “Why didn’t I study?” & “What took me so long?”

For both, the results can be the same. Which in fact is a shame, for a great study space really boosts your confidence and helps you gain high marks in final examination (as there is effective learning).

A good study corner is not only about what you do, when and how. Its all about developing the right kind of habits, and strong commitment.

Though it might sound like a minute thing, we can assure that it will majorly improvise your passing chances.

Tips to Create a Study Space for ACCA examination

#1. Organize your space

We all have different preferences. For a few study desk neatness, and window corner is more productive while for the other one it might be distractive. You only know what suits you the most.

In this situation, you need to be honest with yourself. Pick a space that is free from disturbance and where you can sit and enjoy your study period.

#2. Get a space with the right light

Too bright might give you an eye pain, too dull might make you fall asleep. Proper light in your ACCA study environment works as a motivating factor.

#3. Say no to ‘too comfort’ zone

A right amount of comfort is needed while studying, but a higher comfort level will land you nowhere. Ever tried reading books while laying on the bed? You will be extremely familiar with this. Treat your study like work, no laying down no napping while studying.

ACCA is a professional course, not a high school study. Get up, dress smart, be active and then proceed. If your body is still tempting for a quick nap, then dear reduces your social media hour and take a quick 30-min power nap instead of scarifying your studies.

#4.  Don’t allow huger pans to distract you

Study is not an easy task. You need to put in your soul, mind, and energy to it. So, it’s obvious for you to get hungry after a few hours. But getting hungry every 5 minutes is strange, and you will be only thinking about the foods inside your fridge.

A total distraction. It sure to start from 5 minutes and end in an hour or two or last for the entire day.

What you can do is, tuck in some quick energy bars or drink or nuts to prevent hunger pang.

#5. How about a group study?

Preparing for the ACCA exam alone can be a lonely experience- but it really doesn’t have to be. You can work alone but when working jointly the output is measurable. Reach out for friends who are in a similar situation, you can study together, share notes, discuss topics and jointly workout on complicated portions.

The point is to build a support network to crack the tough ACCA journey.

#6. Studying in College Library

The library has a study aura. Even if you don’t want to study it will push you into the books. The environment is studious as you see your friends studying and working hard, you automatically get attracted towards learning.

Another advantage of studying in the college library is that you can have your professor assisting you at any point in time. You get to address your issues immediately instead of having to wait for another day. In this way, you can proceed with your study with no hindrance.
