Students in professional studies fail to grasp some of the most fundamental contrasts between these and other academic courses, which the majority of them have already completed.
Normally, you are expected to know the application of your study course rather than just the knowledge element at a professional level, and this is reflected in how you are examined in the professional examination.
Academics want you to devote your full attention to a learning process using a theoretical method rather than a pragmatic (risk-taking) approach, which is highly valued when preparing for professional studies such as ACCA.
A university isn’t a professional school.
If you’ve ever seen a University Environment, whether you’ve been a part of one or seen one advertised, you’ve almost always been shown a picture of a bunch of students sitting around and studying while also appearing to be having a nice time (I hope to be honest).
Is it possible to portray the same image for an institution where you will pursue your ACCA qualification? Probably not as straightforward as that.
What is the reason for this? It’s because if you’re conveying that image by sitting in a group and having a good time, odds are you won’t be having a good time after or on your outcome – assuming you get it.
Those who are ‘interested’ Idea generation
It appears to be a good notion to innovate to improve one’s ability to learn a specific course, whether it’s ACCA or anything else. However, the fact that the people who contribute ideas are also people who are people who are people who are people who are people who are people who
Students who are most likely to be studying alongside you have a higher likelihood of falling off track if one of them deviates from the correct path.
Recruiters value the ability to think beyond the box.
This ability to produce ideas from your brain without the assistance of others will make you an excellent pick for both your Boss and the Examiner.
These people who have put their hardworking heads on the board to create that examination wants to do their best to see if the students have the ability to be creative with their ideas and apply their knowledge in places they may not have directly encountered until they sit in front of the paper, tense and worried.
What did you get from it?
We hope you grasped the gist of this tiny bit of advice and considered why you should not study in groups rather than alone in a place where you can do nothing but study, such as a library or a study space – whatever suits you best.
