NCA provides education to 20 employees of Office of the Auditor General Nepal

Kathmandu: NCA College of Management and the Secretariat of Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability has signed the agreement to provide study opportunities to 20 employees.

Kathmandu: NCA College of Management and the Secretariat of Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability has signed the agreement to provide study opportunities to 20 employees.

This agreement is for the wellbeing of the employees of the Office of the Auditor-General and Comptroller of Nepal and various departments under the Office of the Auditor-General from Deputy Subba to Deputy Secretaries. The benefited employee will accommodate in the Financial statement presentation, preparation, and international accounting.

The purpose of this agreement is to prepare skilled manpower for the overall audit including the use of international accounting standards. The World Bank’s Donor Joint Fund and the Integrated Public Financial Management Reform Project is part of the agreement, and it is capitalized by the World Bank and the Government of Nepal.

ACCA-PFA-Class-NCA

Assimilation program organized before the formal class, Gyanendra Poudel, coordinator of the Secretariat for Public Expenditure and Financial Responsibility, expressed confidence that the study assistance would significantly contribute to capacity building, career development, overall public financial system, and improvement of audit in line with international standards.

Similarly, Member Secretary of the Secretariat Gorakh Shahi said that the scholarship was an important opportunity for the participants and pointed out the need for time management and hard work to make the study effective.
